What is 630 stainless steel equivalent to?

The corresponding domestic grade of Grade 630 stainless steel is 0Cr17Ni4Cu4Nb, while its Japanese standard designation is SUS630. Additionally, 630 stainless steel is also known as 17-4PH stainless steel.

GNEE supplies 630 stainless steel bars, which have been widely used in valves, shafts, the chemical fiber industry, and high-strength components that require a certain level of corrosion resistance.

GNEE will introduce the characteristics of Stainless Steel Alloy 630 bar from several aspects, helping you gain a clear understanding for your project.

SUS630 Stainless Steel Bar

SUS630 alloy is a precipitated, water-quenched, martensitic stainless steel, and this grade has high strength, hardness and corrosion resistance. After heat treatment, the mechanical properties of the product are more perfect, and the compressive strength can reach up to 1100-1300 mpa (160-190 ksi). This grade cannot be used at temperatures above 300℃ (570F) or very low temperatures. It has good corrosion resistance to the atmosphere and dilute acids or salts. Its corrosion resistance is the same as 304 and 430.
