Gnee specializes in the production of high-quality stainless steel foil for industrial, medical, chemical, and electronic applications. We manufacture foils in a wide range of grades including 304, 316, 316L, 201, 430, and 310S, with thicknesses ranging from 0.02mm to 0.5mm and widths up to 1,500mm, suitable for both standard and precision applications. Our foil products are available in multiple surface finishes such as 2B, BA, No.1, and bright annealed, with protective PVC films (30–70 μm) to prevent scratches and oxidation.
Our product lineup includes:
Ultra-thin stainless steel foils for heat treating and electronic components (0.02–0.1mm)
Precision slitting foils for automotive and battery industries
Industrial furnace foils for wrapping and high-temperature processing
Medical-grade foils for surgical and hygiene applications
Large coil foils for chemical and marine equipment manufacturing
1. Definition of GNEE Stainless Steel Foil

Definition of GNEE Stainless Steel Foil
Stainless steel foils are very thin sheets of steel that have been processed. These foils have some outstanding properties, including flexibility and light weight. Stainless steel foils are less than 0.1 mm thick and less than 600 mm wide. Hammering or rolling is usually used to process stainless steel foils. After processing, they are often shaped to resemble paper towel rolls. Manufacturers take this precaution to protect these sheets from harm and facilitate storage and transportation.
These stainless steel foils have the same properties and characteristics as steel. Stainless steel foils are most widely used due to their best properties such as durability, electrical resistance, and corrosion resistance.
GNEE STEEL Stainless Steel Foil
Stainless steel foil is a metal sheet material that is mainly made of stainless steel. This material is generally used in a wide variety of fields due to its excellent corrosion resistance, strength, and durability. The thickness of stainless steel foil is usually very thin and can range from 0.025 mm to 0.5 mm, which makes it ideal for use in situations where highly precise and thin metal materials are required.

4. grades of GNEE Stainless Steel Foil
Series and grades describe stainless steel foil. Series describe different properties and provide information about the proportions of different metals in the alloy. There are four different series of stainless steel:
Austenitic stainless steel foil
Ferritic stainless steel foil
Duplex stainless steel foil
Martensitic and precipitation hardening stainless steel foil
However, series only cover the basics of stainless steel grades. You must think about stainless steel grades to fully understand the difference between one type and another. Series are divided into grades, which help describe the unique characteristics of the alloy, such as its toughness, magnetic properties, corrosion resistance, and composition. The Society of Automotive Engineers created a three-digit identification system for the old categories (SAE). The Unified Numbering System (UNS) is now used to identify grades. The most well-known and most commonly used series is the austenitic series. This type of stainless steel foil often contains nickel and chromium. Grades in this series are ideal for welding and have excellent corrosion and creep resistance. The most widely used austenitic stainless steel foil grades:
301 stainless steel foil
304 stainless steel foil
316L stainless steel foil
321 stainless steel foil
5. Features of GNEE Stainless Steel Foil
1) Strength – Stainless steel is known for its strength compared to other metals or alloys. It can resist stresses that would cause weaker metals to crack and break. This means you will be able to enjoy your stainless steel products for longer than if they were made with lower quality materials.
2) Corrosion Resistance – Another benefit of stainless steel is that it resists corrosion from water, chemicals, acidic materials and salt air. This makes it ideal for use in environments where corrosion would quickly destroy conventional metal parts or products.
3) Durability – Because this material is so strong and corrosion resistant, you don’t have to worry about replacing stainless steel products very often. They will last for years before you need to consider buying new ones. As an added bonus, this helps keep costs down.
6. Application of Stainless Steel Foil
Automotive & Aerospace: Used for heat shields in exhaust systems, muffler parts, and engine components due to high heat resistance.
Electronics & Electrical: Used in manufacturing battery components (electrodes), flexible circuit boards, electronic shrapnel, and EMI/RFI shielding.
Industrial & Manufacturing: Utilized for precision shims, metal stampings, gaskets, conveyor belts, and bellows.
Heat Exchange & Insulation: Applied in industrial, water, and oil pipes as well as insulation layers to reduce heat transfer.
Food & Chemical Industry: Used as liners for chemical tanks, food-grade packaging, and oven liners.
Construction & Decorative: Used in flexible chimney liners, architectural elements, and roofing.
