C12200 DHP Copper Alloy Tube
UNS numbers C10100 to C13000 represent commercially pure copper. High electrical and thermal conductivity as well as good corrosion resistance determine the use of pure copper. Alloying of copper interferes with the metal's electrical conductivity, indicating the importance of its purity. Different grades of unalloyed copper behave differently depending on the level of impurities present in the metal.
C122 DHP is 99.90% commercially pure copper that has been phosphorus deoxidized, leaving a high residual phosphorus content. Copper Alloy 122 is less susceptible to hydrogen embrittlement but has relatively low electrical conductivity due to the phosphorus content. In addition, we also stock C10200 (OFHC) copper busbar conduit. C102 copper is 99.95% pure copper and essentially contains no oxygen. Copper Alloy 102 has high electrical and thermal conductivity and very high resistance to hydrogen embrittlement.
