Incoloy 925, also known as Alloy 925, N09925 and W.Nr. 2.4375, is a precipitation-hardened nickel-iron-chromium alloy with additives such as molybdenum, copper, titanium and aluminum.
Incoloy 925 alloy has excellent resistance to a variety of corrosive environments, including sulfuric and phosphoric acid as well as seawater and other chloride-containing environments. Incoloy 925 is highly resistant to reducing and oxidizing acids, stress corrosion cracking, and pitting and crevice corrosion.
Due to its excellent corrosion resistance, Incoloy alloy 925 is widely used in chemical processing, pollution control, oil and gas extraction, pickling operations and marine engineering. In addition, it is also suitable for use in sulfuric acid and phosphoric acid processing equipment.
