UNS N06601 nickel alloy round bar (corresponding to international grades: Inconel 601, Werkstoff Nr. 2.4851) is a nickel-chromium-iron based high temperature alloy with aluminum and titanium added to enhance high temperature performance.
Inconel 601 round bar forms a dense Cr₂O₃ oxide film below 1180℃, and its spalling resistance is better than that of ordinary stainless steel. It is resistant to carburization, sulfurization, nitric acid, chloride and other corrosive media. It can be cold/hot processed and has good welding performance (ERNiCrFe-11 welding wire is recommended).

Q. What is the difference between UNS N06601 and other high-temperature alloys (such as 304H, 316L)?
A.Compared with 304H: UNS N06601's high-temperature oxidation resistance and creep strength are significantly better than 304H (austenitic stainless steel), and it is suitable for long-term high-temperature service environment.
Compared with 316L: 316L contains molybdenum (2-3%) and has better chloride ion corrosion resistance, but UNS N06601 has more stable comprehensive performance in high-temperature oxidation environment and lower cost.
