L Bolts are most commonly used when attaching a plate member to masonry foundations and providing an anchor for lightweight post bases.
Commonly referred to as an L-shaped anchor bolt, they are also known as a 90-degree anchor bolt.

There are different yield strengths and the L type anchor bolt can be classified into three grades as 36, 55 and 105 based on their minimum yield strengths in ksi. The l tower bolt is a different type of the L bolt that is used to lock a component without moving from its location. The shape of the L type tower bolt makes it possible to lock two components without moving and it can come in different sizes such as 4 inches, 6 inches and 8 inches. The overall size range of the L shaped bolts range from 3/8 to 16 inches in diameter and from 6inches to 12 inches in length with the thread length being 2 inches and the hook varying from 1 inch to 1 ½ inches.
