The  Buttweld 90° Elbow Fitting has a 0.5 inch outside diameter and a 0.065 in. wall thickness. All elbows feature an industry standard radius of 1.5 times the tubing outside diameter. Series 23 vacuum buttweld fittings are constructed with welded, drawn, and annealed 304 stainless steel tubing for applications where minimizing the number of sealed joints is critical.

1.4529 is characterized by:

• increased resistance to stress corrosion cracking compared to other austenitic stainless steels
• excellent general corrosion resistance in use of ​​oxidizing as well as reducing media
• less tendency to form intermetallic phases compared to similar steels with only 18% nickel content
• very good resistance at pitting and crevice corrosion
• Approval for pressure vessels with temperatures between -196 and 400 ° C

1.4539 stainless steel ,the high chromium content promotes and maintains a passive film which protects the material in many corrosive environments.904L has a greater resistance to precipitation of ferrite and sigma phases on cooling and welding than other stainless steels containing molybdenum such as 316L and 317L. There is no risk of intercrystalline corrosion on cooling or welding due to the low carbon content. Its maximum service temperature is at 450°C.
