The flange type can be different based on the face type. The SS UNS S41000 Pipe Flanges are made as flat face raised face and ring type joint face flanges as well. There are other categories such as the production type which includes threaded flanges, screwed flanges, plate flanges and forged flanges. The ANSI B16.5 SS 410s Orifice Flange comes with an orifice for better connection. The material has carbon, manganese, silicon, phosphorus, sulfur, 11% chromium and nickel in the chemical composition. This composition allows the flanges to have 450MPa minimum tensile strength and 205MPa minimum yield strength values. The SS DIN 1.4006 Socket Weld Flanges are also harder with 217BHN minimum Brinell hardness. Since the material has high wear and tear resistance, it can be used in outdoor applications.
