1.4435 1.4460 Concentric Reducer
1.4435 stainless steel is very good resistance to corrosion in acidic and chloride containing environments, low sensitivity to stress corrosion cracking in presence of chlorides, excellent resistance to intergranular corrosion (even after welding), very good weldability, well-suited for use in environments with high risk of pitting corrosion.
Grade 1.4460 ( also called AISI 329 and SS2324) is a stainless, acid resistant, duplex steel with improved machinability. Since the steel is machinability improved, it is suitable for production of details with comprehensive machining. The steel has very good corrosion resistance particulary in chloride-bearing environments and is extra resistant to pitting corrosion, crevice corrosion, stress corrosion cracking and corrosion fatigue. It also has high strentgth and toughness.
