1.4542 material has a good corrosion resistance and also has very high mechanical properties. 17-4 PH stainless steel is a precipitation hardening stainless steel and because of precipitation hardening, it is also called PH 17-4 or 17-4 PH. 630 stainless steel materials come to Bircelik usually in three different heat threatment conditions. The most common one is H1025 heat threated version. H1025 heat threat version usually has a tensile strenght above 1100 MPA and hardness above 37 HRC. The other heat threatment conditions are Condition A, which is not precipitated yet and H1150, which is softened and has a lower hardness and lower mechanical value. 17-4 ph stainless steel usually used in pomp shafts, marine aplications, petro chemical industries a lot.
