Stainless Steel 316L

    316L stainless steel plate is the second most widely used stainless steel after 304, and its corrosion resistance is better than 304. High temperature resistance is also better, up to 1000 degrees. 316L stainless steel plate is a kind of universal stainless steel material, rust resistance is stronger than 200 series stainless steel material. High temperature resistance is also relatively good, can reach 1000-1200 degrees.

The Mo content of 316L makes the steel has excellent corrosion resistance and can be safely used in halogen ion environments such as Cl-. Because          316L is mainly used for its chemical properties, steel mills have slightly lower surface inspection requirements for 316L (relative to 304), and customers with higher surface requirements should strengthen surface inspection efforts.
