TP347H (1Cr19Ni11Nb) is a high carbon niobium-containing Cr-Ni austenitic stainless steel. Due to the stabilizing element Nb, it has good resistance to intergranular corrosion and polysulfate intergranular stress corrosion. Its corrosion resistance in corrosive media such as acid, alkali and salt is similar to that of Ti-containing 18-8 austenitic stainless steel.

347 stainless steel pipe is a stabilized austenitic stainless steel containing niobium. 347H stainless steel seamless pipe is its high carbon version, suitable for intermittent heating environments from 800ºF to 1650ºF or to avoid annealing when welding.
