317L ss steel has stronger resistance to chemical corrosion than conventional chromium-nickel austenitic stainless steel such as 304 alloy. In addition, compared with conventional stainless steel, 317L alloy has higher ductility, stress corrosion resistance, compressive strength and high temperature resistance. It is a low carbon grade or L grade, this grade has resistance to sensitization during welding and heat treatment.
321 stainless seamless pipe is a Ni-Cr-Ti type austenitic stainless pipe with abrasion resistance, high temperature resistance, creep resistance, etc. It is used to manufacture wear-resistant acid containers and linings and pipelines of wear-resistant equipment.
347 pipe stainless grade is a stable alloy due to its columbium + tantalum content. 347 stainless steel is ideal for long service life at high temperatures (800-1500ºF) and is resistant to intergranular corrosion in the range of chromium carbide precipitation. High creep and stress rupture properties are part of its excellent mechanical properties.
