What is ASTM A213 TP316L pipe Pressure Rating?

According to ASTM A213, the working pressure rating of stainless steel pipe is determined by multiplying its yield strength value by a safety factor of 0.94. Specifically, the working pressure of imperial seamless stainless steel pipe is based on the pipe yield strength value (20,000 psi or 137,800 kPa) specified in ASTM A213, multiplied by 0.94. For metric seamless stainless steel pipe, the working pressure is calculated based on the pipe standard in ASME B31.3 EN ISO 1127, with a yield strength of 1370 bar (20,000 psi) and a tensile strength of 5170 bar (75,000 psi), which is also multiplied by 0.94 to obtain the working pressure.
