ASTM A269 TP316L stainless steel tubing contains Cr 16.0%–18.0%, Ni 10.0%–14.0%, and Mo 2.0%–3.0%. Its ultra-low carbon control (C ≤ 0.030%) completely eliminates the risk of intergranular corrosion, while the added molybdenum gives it a Pitting Resistance Equivalent Number (PREN ≥ 25) far superior to standard 304L, ensuring outstanding performance in aggressive environments such as chloride-bearing media and marine atmospheric conditions.
Our ASTM A269 TP316L stainless steel coil tubes are processed through precision cold drawing and bright annealing (BA) under a protective hydrogen atmosphere, resulting in superior wall thickness uniformity, strict outer diameter tolerances within ±0.05 mm, and internal surface roughness Ra ≤ 0.4 μm. Achieving a minimum tensile strength of 485 MPa, yield strength of 170 MPa, elongation ≥ 35%, and hardness ≤ 90 HRB, they provide an exceptionally high burst pressure safety factor and excellent bending formability.
GNEE supplies ASTM A269 TP316L seamless coil tubes with outer diameters ranging from 3.18 mm to 25.4 mm (1/8" to 1") and wall thicknesses from 0.5 mm to 2.11 mm. A single continuous coil without welds can reach lengths from 300 meters up to 2,000 meters, significantly lowering installation costs and potential leak risks. Quality Control
For ASTM A269 TP316L Cold Drawn Stainless Steel Seamless Coil Tubes, GNEE applies strict quality control covering chemical composition, dimensional accuracy, surface condition, mechanical properties and hardness. Each tube is subjected to hydrostatic testing or nondestructive electric testing as required by ASTM A269, while seamless coiled tubing also receives flaring and hardness testing according to the applicable lot requirements. For critical orders, 100% eddy current testing, additional hydrostatic testing and third-party inspection can be arranged. Each batch can be supplied with an EN 10204 3.1 MTC for heat-number traceability.
Standard export packaging
GNEE uses seaworthy export packaging designed to protect the continuous coil from moisture, deformation, contamination and surface damage during long-distance transportation. Each coil can be secured on a steel or wooden frame, wrapped with waterproof film and protected with plastic end covers where applicable. For precision cold-drawn tubes, additional anti-scratch and moisture protection can be applied. Package markings can include TP316L, ASTM A269, tube OD, wall thickness, coil length, quantity, heat number and PO number, maintaining clear identification and traceability throughout shipment.
