The 2507 super duplex stainless steel tubes come in different standards. The seamless and welded tubes are covered by A789 specifications. The material is strong with 80ksi minimum yield strength and 116ksi minimum tensile strength. The Super Duplex 2507 Seamless Tubing is good for applications that require precision tubing. The seamless tubes have less absolute roughness and therefore have a consistent wall thickness.
The Alloy 2507 super duplex tubing is highly resistant to chloride stress corrosion cracking, has good general corrosion resistance, good chloride pitting resistance and crevice corrosion resistance. The astm a789 uns s32750 tube can operate up to 600F and has a lower thermal expansion rate.
