Product Advantages
304 stainless steel pipe for chemical industry is based on an alloy system containing 18% chromium and 8% nickel, which forms a dense passive film on the surface. This protective layer resists corrosion from atmosphere, water vapor, weak acids/alkalis, and most food-grade media. It ensures long-term rust resistance, especially in outdoor or high-humidity environments, helping reduce maintenance and replacement costs.
Cold-rolled 304 stainless steel pipe has a stable austenitic microstructure, offering excellent cold formability. It can be easily bent, flared, or welded (e.g., TIG welding), and is resistant to intergranular corrosion after welding.
Compared with 316 stainless steel pipe, 304 is 30%–50% more cost-effective, and its corrosion resistance is sufficient for non-aggressive environments (without high-concentration chlorides). It is the preferred choice where cost and corrosion resistance must be balanced,
