1.4301 steel is the standard material for austenitic chromium-nickel steels. Good corrosion resistance in natural environmental media is given. Material 1.4301 is not suitable for use in chlorine and salt concentrations.
This stainless steel is not resistant to intergranular corrosion in the welded state. If welding work is unavoidable, it is advisable to switch to the material 1.4307.
