ASTM A358 TP304H Stainless Steel EFW Pipe is an austenitic stainless steel pipe manufactured using the electric fusion welding (EFW) process, specifically designed for industrial applications operating in high-temperature and corrosive environments.
The TP304H stainless steel EFW pipes supplied by GNEE are produced using advanced German automatic plasma welding equipment, achieving single-side welding with double-side formation. After welding, the pipes undergo solution annealing treatment at 1040°C to ensure that the weld seam and base metal maintain consistent mechanical and corrosion-resistant properties. The process does not require filler metal, resulting in dense and uniform weld seams that are especially suitable for manufacturing large-diameter and heavy-wall pipes.

TP304H stainless steel pipe is the high-temperature strengthened version of 304 stainless steel, with carbon content controlled between 0.04–0.10%. Compared with standard TP304 or TP304L, TP304H offers more than 30% higher high-temperature creep strength and can operate stably for long periods in environments ranging from 600°C to 800°C.
GNEE can supply full-size SS 304H pipes with outer diameters ranging from 57 mm to 2680 mm and wall thicknesses from 1.2 mm to 60 mm, covering multiple schedule grades from SCH5S to SCH80S. All products are manufactured in strict accordance with ASTM A358 Class 3 non-destructive testing requirements, including 100% radiographic testing (RT) or ultrasonic testing (UT). Hydrostatic testing is performed at 1.5 times the design pressure to ensure pipeline safety and reliability. Customized dimensions and special surface treatment processes are also available according to customer requirements.

NDT - Non-Destructive Testing
Hydrostatic Test: Each pipe must undergo a hydrostatic test at the specified standard pressure, with the pressure held for a minimum of 5 seconds to ensure there are no leaks.
Radiographic Testing (RT/X-Ray): A characteristic inspection for EFW pipes. The weld seams undergo either 100% or spot X-ray inspection to check for porosity, slag inclusions, or lack of penetration.
Eddy Current Test: Detects surface and near-surface defects.
Ultrasonic Test: Specifically for thick-walled pipes, detects internal longitudinal or transverse defects.
