Product Description of TITANIUM STEEL PIPE

Titanium tubing is designed with high content of titanium along with other alloys.

This gives the tubes in this grade enhanced strength. The lightweight tubes possess similar strength as steel but are 45% lighter. The tubes of the titanium grade also possess the highest strength to weight ratio and have a tensile strength of nearly 31900 psi.

Seamless and welded configurations are two common pipe types in the titanium grade. Both these types have different features that help in distinguishing them.

Titanium seamless pipe is produced by passing hot steel billets to precisely shape different piping components. A welded pipe grade is welded in place using seam or welds.

Seamless pipes are designed possessing enhanced strength and load-bearing capacity over welded pipes of this grade.

Titanium welded pipes are cheaper than standard seamless pipes.
