Products Description
Stainless Steel Alloy 660 Clad Plate (UNS S66286 / A-286) is an age-hardened austenitic stainless steel composite plate that offers the dual advantages of high-temperature strength and corrosion resistance. Its chemical composition includes 24–27% Ni, 13.5–16% Cr, 1–1.5% Mo, 1.9–2.35% Ti, 0.1–0.5% V, and 0.003–0.010% B. Following solution treatment (1010°C/1850°F) and aging (760°C/1400°F), the material exhibits a tensile strength of ≥895 MPa (130 ksi), a yield strength of ≥585 MPa (85 ksi), an elongation of ≥15%, and a hardness of 248–341 HBW; it supports continuous service temperatures up to 700°C (1292°F), with creep strength and fatigue performance (240–410 MPa) significantly superior to the 304/316 series. Manufactured using explosion welding or roll bonding processes (in accordance with ASTM A414 / ASME SB898), the composite plate features a "2-in-1" or "3-in-1" configuration-combining an Alloy 660 facing layer with a carbon steel or low-alloy steel base layer-to balance corrosion resistance with structural strength.
