Super duplex 2507 stainless steel plate (UNS S32750/EN 1.4410) is a high chromium-nickel-molybdenum-nitrogen alloy with a critical pitting temperature (CPT) of up to 30-40°C. Its resistance to chloride stress corrosion cracking (SCC) far exceeds that of ordinary duplex steel (such as 2205).
The yield strength of 2507 stainless steel cold-rolled plate is ≥550 MPa, which is about 3 times that of 316L stainless steel. It significantly reduces the weight of the structure, can be used for a long time at temperatures below 600°C, and has excellent oxidation resistance.
