The components of the SS 430 Sheet perform well at different temperatures. It tends to withstand oxidation at high temperatures, however, they usually end up turning brittle at these temperatures. A SS 430 Plate exhibits superior mechanical properties having a minimum tensile strength of 483Mpa with a yield strength of minimum 310Mpa. The 430 Stainless Steel Plate can be elongated by a minimum of 22% while exhibiting a maximum hardness of 85 HR B. The high carbon content in the Stainless Plate 430 gives these modules poor weldability compared to most other stainless steel grades.
