Processing characteristics
SUS 316 stainless steel medium and thick plates have good machinability and can be cut, cold-processed and hot-processed. They are suitable for manufacturing products of various shapes and sizes.
SUS 2205 stainless steel hot forming should be carried out below 600°F, and the entire workpiece should be heated as a whole, with a temperature range of 1750°F to 2250°F. After hot forming, solid solution annealing and quenching should be carried out to restore its phase balance, toughness and corrosion resistance.
