The Super Duplex 2507 Plate is made up of a material that has both austenitic and ferritic qualities in its metallurgical microstructure. This allows that material to be both corrosion resistant and strong. The 2507 super duplex stainless steel sheet has chromium, nickel and molybdenum with nitrogen, carbon and iron in the composition. This composition makes the material corrosion resistant against chloride ion stress corrosion pitting and crevice attack.
