We supply ASTM A240 304 hot rolled plates containing 18–20% chromium and 8–10.5% nickel, which form a stable passive film that provides excellent resistance to air, water, mild acids, alkalis, and common chemicals. These plates are highly resistant to rust and oxidation, making them ideal for humid environments, food processing facilities, outdoor structures, and other applications where traditional steel would corrode easily.

Produced through a hot rolling process, 304 stainless steel plates are classified as medium to thick plates with thicknesses typically ranging from 1 mm to 50 mm (custom thicknesses are also available). The surface finish is industrial-grade No.1 (hot-rolled finish), which offers excellent adhesion for painting, coating, or other secondary processing. These properties make them especially suitable for heavy machinery, structural components, and pressure vessels that demand strength and thickness.

Compared to high-alloy stainless steels, 304 hot rolled plates offer a cost-effective solution while maintaining good corrosion resistance and mechanical strength.
