When cold wrought, Type 301L is a stainless steel with a nominal composition of 17 percent chromium and 7% nickel that offers good strength and ductility. We also offer these Stainless Steel 301L Sheets in three different hardness’s like full hard, half hard, and quarter hard.

Furthermore, the metal hardening process makes Stainless Steel 301L Sheets more resistant to high temperatures. The corrosion resistance of stainless steel grade 301L sheets is comparable to that of stainless steel grade 304. At ambient temperatures, this grade has good corrosion resistance in slightly corrosive conditions. For intermittent service up to 840°C and continuous service up to 900°C, Stainless Steel 301L Sheets have good oxidation resistance.
