ASTM 409L Stainless Steel Perforated Plate
The ASTM A268 SS 409 perforated sheets offer excellent welding and formability properties. The forming and ridging properties of the SS 409 Perforated sheets can be enhanced with the help of the thermochemical processing. The annealing process can help the SS UNS S40900 perforated sheets with increased toughness and strength. Cosmetic Corrosion of the SS 409 perforated sheets can lead towards occasional red rust. Therefore, these SS UNS S40900 perforated sheets are not suggested for applications where surface appearance is a factor. The low carbon content of the SS UNS S40900 perforated sheets help them to prevent the austenite formation. The Titanium helps the SS 409 perforated sheets to stabilize the steel and prevent hardening during welding.
