304 is a versatile stainless steel that is widely used to make equipment and parts that require good comprehensive properties (corrosion resistance and formability). In order to maintain the inherent corrosion resistance of stainless steel, the steel must contain more than 18% chromium and more than 8% nickel.
309 stainless steel has better corrosion resistance and heat resistance than 304, can withstand repeated heating below 980°C, and has higher high-temperature strength, oxidation resistance, and carburization resistance.
329J3L is developed on the basis of Swedish SAF2205. It is currently the most commonly used steel type in two-way steel in the world. It is tolerant to environments containing curing hydrogen, carbon dioxide, and chloride. It can be formed by hot and cold processing and has good welding performance. Suitable for use as structural materials, replacing 304 and 316.
