1.4318 is a low carbon, nitrogen alloyed CrNi stainless steel with higher strength. 1.4318 is used in applications that require corrosion resistance, high mechanical strength, and good formability. Because the nitrogen alloy improves corrosion performance, the Stainless Steel 1.4318 Sheets provides corrosion resistance in many corrosive environments, similar to standard austenitic CrNi grades.
