317L stainless steel has stronger resistance to chemical corrosion than conventional chromium-nickel austenitic stainless steel such as 304 alloy. In addition, compared with conventional stainless steel, 317L alloy has higher ductility, stress corrosion resistance, compressive strength and high temperature resistance.
321H is a titanium stabilized austenitic stainless steel with good overall corrosion resistance. It has excellent resistance to intergranular corrosion when exposed to temperatures in the carbon carbide precipitation range of 800-1500°F (427-816°C).
347 stainless steel grade is a stable alloy due to its columbium + tantalum content. 347 stainless steel is ideal for long service life at high temperatures (800-1500ºF) and is resistant to intergranular corrosion in the range of chromium carbide precipitation.
