Products Description
Our Super Duplex Steel Hydraulic Type Fittings is forged between 2250 Degree F / 1750 Degree F (1230 Degree C / 955 Degree C) following a soak at forging temperature of 30 minutes per inch of billet or ingot section thickness. Forging of these Duplex Steel Hydraulic Type Fittings should be started immediately when the stock is removed from the reheat furnace, where reductions help to retain as much internal heat as possible. For optimum corrosion resistance, forged parts of our Super Duplex Steel Forged Hydraulic Fittings should be subsequently annealed.
