SUS420F stainless steel bar (UNS S42020) is a high-sulfur martensitic stainless steel. By adding 0.15-0.35% sulfur, the cutting performance is significantly improved while maintaining high hardness and wear resistance. It is widely used in precision machinery, medical equipment and tool manufacturing.
SUS420F stainless steel round bar is suitable for efficient processing on automatic lathes. The hardness after quenching reaches HRC 50-55, with excellent wear resistance, moderate resistance to atmospheric and freshwater corrosion, and better than ordinary carbon steel.
