UNS C11000 Copper Alloys

C11000 is named after its purple-red color. Various properties are found in copper. Red copper is industrial pure copper, with a melting point of 1083°C, no allotropic transformation, and a relative density of 8.9, five times that of magnesium. About 15% heavier than ordinary steel. It has a rose red color and turns purple after an oxide film is formed on the surface, so it is generally called red copper. It is copper containing some oxygen, so it is also called oxygen-containing copper. C11000 has good electrical conductivity, thermal conductivity, corrosion resistance and processing properties, and can be welded and brazed. It contains less impurities that reduce electrical and thermal conductivity, and a trace amount of oxygen has little effect on electrical conductivity, thermal conductivity and processing properties, but it can easily cause "hydrogen disease" and is not suitable for processing (annealing, welding, etc.) and use.

C110 copper, also known as electrolytic tough copper, is 99.90% pure copper. ETP 110 is one of the most commonly used commercial pure coppers. C11000 copper has one of the highest conductivity ratings, exceeding 100% IACS. ETP C110 copper also has excellent thermal conductivity and exhibits good corrosion resistance. C110 ETP copper has a wide range of uses, including applications in the architectural, industrial, electrical, automotive and construction industries.
