ASME SA213 TP321 Stainless Steel Bright Annealed Tube

GNEE offers ASME SA213 TP321 stainless steel bright annealed tubes with a bright annealed surface finish (Ra ≤ 0.4μm) that enhances corrosion resistance in the 800-1500°F (427-816°C) range due to chromium carbide precipitation. These tubes offer superior intergranular corrosion resistance and creep strength compared to standard 304 stainless steel. These tubes are available in standard sizes of 12.7-114.3 mm OD and 0.89-4.78 mm wall thickness, with tight tolerances (OD ±0.05 mm, wall thickness ±0.03 mm). They are suitable for critical applications such as high-temperature chemical processing, power plant superheaters, and aircraft exhaust systems.

Non-Destructive Testing (NDT)

Eddy Current Testing (ET): 100% full-tube inspection. Conducted in accordance with ASTM E426 to detect through-wall defects or surface cracks in the tube wall.
Hydrostatic Testing: Each tube must withstand a specified pressure for a minimum of 5 seconds without leakage.
Air Under Water Testing: For BA (Bright Annealed) tubes, customers frequently request that the tubes be pressurized with high-pressure air and submerged in a water tank to detect minute pinholes; this method is more sensitive than hydrostatic testing.

Professional Packaging

End Caps: Both ends of every tube must be fitted with protective caps to prevent dust ingress or moisture accumulation within the interior walls.
Export-Grade Fumigated Plywood Cases: The tubes are stacked in layers within the wooden crates, with each layer separated by wooden boards or soft cushioning materials.
Special Considerations:
Marking: The exterior of the crate must be clearly marked with the following information, Size (OD x WT x L), Heat No., Weight, as well as warning symbols such as "Do Not Stack" and "Keep Dry."
