ASTM A312 TP 316H alloy round pipes exhibit excellent toughness even at extremely low temperatures and are widely used in the pressure vessel industry. As the high-carbon version of 316 stainless steel, 316H pipes are stabilized with titanium, which helps improve corrosion resistance and provides outstanding long-term and short-term creep strength. AISI 316H welded pipes have a melting point of approximately 1400 °C and are specifically engineered for high-temperature service conditions.

 

ASTM A312 TP 316H seamless stainless steel pipes are available with outer diameters ranging from 3.2 mm to 800 mm and wall thicknesses from 0.25 mm to 50 mm, ensuring excellent structural integrity and pressure-tight performance in critical applications such as boilers, superheaters, and petrochemical reactors. Each production batch undergoes strict quality testing, including chemical composition analysis, tensile testing, and non-destructive examination (NDT), and is supplied with a complete Mill Test Certificate (MTC) in accordance with EN 10204 3.1.

What is the difference between 316 and 316H?
316H is the high-carbon version of 316 stainless steel. 316L has a maximum carbon content of 0.03%, while 316H has a maximum carbon content of 0.04%. The higher carbon content of 316H makes it more resistant to intergranular corrosion, while the lower carbon content of 316L makes it more weldable.
