ASTM A312 TP347H stainless steel seamless pipe is a high-performance niobium-stabilized austenitic stainless steel pipe specifically designed for high-temperature environments, delivering exceptional resistance to intergranular corrosion, creep, and oxidation in extreme thermal conditions.
TP347H stainless steel round pipes supplied by GNEE are manufactured using precision cold drawing or hot finishing processes in accordance with ASTM A312 standards. Their microstructure is stabilized by adding 0.04-0.10% niobium (Nb) to an austenitic matrix containing 18-20% chromium and 8-12% nickel, effectively preventing the precipitation of chromium carbides at grain boundaries at high temperatures (up to 900-1100°C). These pipes undergo solution annealing (typically at 1040-1100°C followed by rapid cooling) to dissolve carbides, ensuring the formation of a uniform austenitic structure and optimizing high-temperature strength and corrosion resistance. With a minimum tensile strength of 515 MPa and elongation ≥35%, TP347H maintains outstanding mechanical properties even under prolonged thermal cycling and creep conditions.
TP347H seamless steel pipes exhibit superior oxidation and scaling resistance (capable of continuous operation at 870°C and peak intermittent use up to 925°C), making them an ideal choice for critical high-temperature applications in power generation, petrochemical, and refining industries-such as boiler superheaters, heat exchanger tubes, turbine casings, and exhaust systems.
