ASTM B862 Ti2 Titanium Welded Pipes for Heat Exchanger Condenser

GNEE supplies ASTM B862 Ti2 titanium welded pipes, manufactured from commercially pure titanium (Grade 2, UNS R50400) using tungsten inert gas welding (GTAW) or plasma welding processes, followed by annealing treatment to eliminate stresses. With a density of approximately 4.51 g/cm³ (about 60% that of steel) and an operational temperature range of 300–350°C, these pipes feature optional surface finishes of acid-pickled annealed or bright annealed, presenting smooth inner walls free from oxide residues that effectively reduce scaling and enhance heat transfer efficiency. They become an ideal choice for heat exchangers, condensers, and chemical equipment where demanding requirements for corrosion resistance and lightweight are critical.

 

ASTM B862 Ti2 titanium pipes are particularly suitable for high-temperature, high-pressure environments with prolonged exposure to corrosive media, such as seawater desalination units, power plant condensing systems, and chemical reactor heat exchange units, offering the advantages of extended service life and low maintenance costs.
