Characteristics Of Stainless Steel Process
1D - The surface has a discontinuous graininess, also known as matte.
Processing technology: hot rolling + annealing, shot peening, pickling + cold rolling + annealing, pickling
2D – Slightly glossy silvery white.
Processing technology: hot rolling + annealing, shot peening, pickling + cold rolling + annealing, pickling
2B - Silvery white, better surface gloss and smoothness than 2D.
Processing technology: hot rolling + annealing, shot peening and pickling + cold rolling + annealing, pickling + tempering rolling.
BA - The surface has excellent gloss and high reflectivity, like a mirror.
Processing technology: hot rolling + annealing, shot peening, pickling + cold rolling + annealing, pickling + surface polishing + tempering rolling.

No.3 - Good gloss and rough surface texture.
Processing: polishing, trimming, rolling 2D/2B products with 100~120 abrasives.
No.4 - Good gloss, fine lines on the surface.
Processing technology: Use 150~180 abrasives (JIS R6002) to polish, trim and roll 2D products/2B products.
HL - silvery gray with hairy stripes.
Processing technology: Use abrasive materials of appropriate particle size to polish 2D products or 2B products, with a continuous wear pattern on the surface.
Mirror - in mirroring state.
Processing technology: Use appropriate particle size abrasives to grind and polish 2D or 2B products to a mirror effect.
