EN 1.4845 Stainless Steel Welded Tube

GNEE, as a professional supplier and manufacturer of stainless steel welded pipes, exports to more than 50 countries annually and has successfully supported over 70 engineering projects worldwide.

We supply 1.4845 (X8CrNi25-21 / 310S) austenitic heat-resistant stainless steel welded tubes, fully compliant with EN 10095, ASTM A312, and related standards. In many low-pressure, atmospheric environments operating at around 1000°C, 1.4845 welded tubes (EN 10217-7) can fully replace seamless tubes (EN 10216-5), while helping customers achieve 20%–30% cost savings.

We provide a complete service covering base material sourcing, filler metal selection, welding procedure development, and finished product inspection. Advanced automatic welding processes such as TIG (GTAW) or plasma welding are adopted. Welding is performed using AWS A5.14 ERNiCr-3 Inconel 82 filler wire, with a weld joint efficiency of 1.0.The weld zone exhibits mechanical properties and corrosion resistance almost identical to the base material. The product demonstrates excellent high-temperature oxidation resistance, creep resistance, and thermal fatigue resistance in the 600–1000°C range.

ASTM A312 TP310S stainless steel welded pipes are supplied in a solution-annealed condition, effectively eliminating internal stresses and ensuring excellent ductility for subsequent bending and fabrication processes. We supply 310S welded pipes in sizes ranging from Φ10 mm to Φ1200 mm and above, with wall thickness from 1.0 mm to 20 mm. Length can be customized according to customer requirements, typically 6 meters fixed or random lengths.

In addition, we provide EN 10204 3.1 material certificates. Upon request, we can also supply weld seam NDT reports (RT/UT) and Welding Procedure Specification / Procedure Qualification Records (WPS/PQR) to ensure compliance with international standards such as ASME and PED.

What is the maximum service temperature for 1.4845 welded pipes?

Continuous service temperature: approximately 1050°C – 1100°C. Intermittent service temperature: approximately 1035°C. It maintains excellent resistance to scaling even at temperatures above 1000°C.
It is typically suitable for temperature environments of approximately 800°C or 900°C and above specifically, a range exceeding the effective upper service temperature limits of grades 304H and 321.

Can 1.4845 welded pipes undergo bending or flaring?

Yes. 1.4845 possesses excellent ductility. Provided that the welded pipe has undergone inline solution annealing, it can undergo secondary processing-such as bending, flaring, or swaging without cracking at the weld seam.

What is the difference between 1.4845 (310S) and 1.4833 (309S)?

1.4845 (310S): 25Cr-21Ni; offers higher heat resistance (up to 1100°C) and superior stability under cyclic heating conditions. 1.4833 (309S): 23Cr-13Ni; offers slightly lower heat resistance (approximately 1000°C) and is more competitively priced. If you require superior resistance to high-temperature oxidation, 1.4845 is the preferred choice.
