AISI 329 stainless steel heat treatment process mainly includes:
Annealing: Parts should be solution annealed between 1020°C and 1100°C and quenched with water. Approximately equal amounts of austenite and ferrite will be formed after solution annealing.
Forging: AISI 329 grades should be forged between 1250°C and 1050°C. Parts may be air-cooled after forging.

AISI 329 stainless steel can be supplied in the form of wire, forgings, plates and round steel.
