The martensitic stainless steel 1.4021 (AISI 420, X20Cr13) has good corrosion resistance due to its high chromium content of 12-14%. This applies in particular to non-chlorine-containing media such as organic acids, soaps or solvents. The material is resistant to scaling up to 600°C.
