What is Super Duplex UNS S32760?
Super Duplex UNS S32760, also known as F55 or 1.4501, is a high-performance super duplex stainless steel. It combines the advantages of austenite and ferrite in a dual-phase structure with excellent corrosion resistance, particularly in chloride environments where pitting and crevice corrosion are prominent. It can withstand harsh operating conditions such as seawater, high temperatures, and acid and alkali environments. It also exhibits excellent cold working and weldability, making it widely used in marine engineering, petrochemicals, energy, and other fields, including the manufacture of key components for deep-sea platforms, chemical equipment, and submarine pipelines.
What is the grade equivalent of uns S32760?
UNS S32760 is a super duplex stainless steel, also known as Zeron 100. It is available as solid bar, plate, pipe, fittings, forgings and castings. When specifying castings, the nearest equivalent specifications are ASTM A890, ASTM A995 and ASME SA351/995 grade CD3MWCuN or 6A, also written as J93380 or 25Cr-7Ni-Mo-N.
What is the composition of super duplex uns S32750?
The chemical composition of S32760 contains 24-26% chromium, 6-8% nickel, and 3-4% molybdenum as well as copper, tungsten, and nitrogen alloy, UNS S32760 is a highly alloyed super duplex stainless steel with high PREN for use in aggressive environments.

Heat Treatment
Duplex stainless steel cannot be hardened by heat treatment. They can however be work-hardened.
Solution treatment or annealing can be done by rapid cooling after heating to around 1100°C.
Welding
The use of welding electrodes for UNS S32760 is recommended. Preheating and post-heating are not necessary. In welding, the interpass temperature should be no more than 100℃ to prevent the formation of intermetallic compounds.
What is the difference between uns S32750 and uns S32760?
UNS S32750 has a higher content of chromium, molybdenum, and nitrogen than UNS S32760, which makes it more resistant to general corrosion, pitting, crevice corrosion. It also has higher tensile strength and better ductility.
