Reasons to use 1.4034 stainless steel
High hardenability: If you are looking for a highly hardenable steel, 1.4034 420C stainless steel is the ideal choice. Due to its high carbon content, it is even harder than 1.4031.
1.4034 420C stainless steel is a highly hardenable martensitic stainless steel that has good corrosion resistance in moderately corrosive environments. This steel is usually used in the tempered state.
