Machinability:

SS304 has good machinability and is easy to perform various cold, hot working, and welding processes.
SS305 has a slower work hardening rate, making it more advantageous for deep processing, such as deep stamping and drawing. However, it requires more advanced processes and equipment for welding.

Magnetic Properties:

Both materials are usually non-magnetic or weakly magnetic, but SS304 may develop some magnetism after cold working, while SS305, due to its higher nickel content, is less likely to become magnetic.

Applications:

SS304 is widely used in various fields, including food processing, architectural decoration, medical equipment, chemical equipment, and more.
SS305 is mainly used in textile machinery parts, electronic components, and other applications requiring high fatigue resistance. It is also used to manufacture products that need non-magnetic materials.
