What is a high-precision heat exchanger tube sheet?
A high-precision heat exchanger tube sheet is a thick, custom-machined metal plate used in shell-and-tube heat exchangers to hold and isolate hundreds of tubes. It acts as a pressure barrier, separating the internal tube fluid from the external shell fluid while ensuring exact tube alignment for maximum thermal efficiency.
A total of 1,300 units of advanced equipment are utilized for the cutting, beveling, welding, heat treatment, drilling, and turning of precision tube sheets; the machining inventory includes 11 deep-hole drilling machines, 31 CNC multi-hole drilling machines, and 15 CNC lathes, enabling the provision of comprehensive services ranging from raw materials to multi-stage processing.

In addition to standard round holes, we provide technical support for irregular hole shapes-such as flower, serrated, and diamond patterns-to meet customized customer requirements.

Leveraging strong partnerships with steel mills, GNEE Stainless Steel maintains an extensive inventory of materials and can efficiently source specific supplies to meet customer requirements. We also provide processing services for tube sheets and baffle plates made from a wide range of materials, including commercially pure titanium, stainless steel clad composites, high-specification stainless steel, and various high-strength steels.
We provide machining services for tubesheets and baffle plates with diameters exceeding 6 meters; the maximum full-circle machining diameter is 10 meters, and the maximum drilling depth is 1.1 meters.

Tube-to-Tube Sheet Joints: Prepared for Welding (Strength weld/Seal weld) or Expanding (Grooved holes).
CNC Deep Hole Drilling: High-speed CNC drilling ensures no thermal deformation and high hole-position accuracy.
Deburring: Automatic machine deburring to ensure both sides are smooth, preventing tube damage during installation.
Rust Prevention: Cleaned and coated with light anti-rust oil (for Carbon/Clad) or passivated (for Stainless).
