What is SS 304 Square Pipe?
SS 304 Square Pipe, also known as AISI 304, is one of the most widely used austenitic stainless steels. It is composed of 18% chromium and 8% nickel, which provides excellent corrosion resistance, strength, and durability. SS 304 square pipes are primarily used in applications where resistance to rust and corrosion is essential, such as in the construction, marine, food processing, and chemical industries.

The cold-formed pipes maintain the material's inherent ductility without welding stresses, while welded pipes are produced through high-frequency/argon arc welding to ensure uniform and defect-free weld seams, followed by heat treatment to eliminate residual stresses. These pipes are suitable for secondary processing such as bending, cutting, or drilling, and are widely used in architectural curtain wall decorative trims, high-end furniture frames, supermarket shelf columns, and mechanical equipment protective covers.
Our 304 stainless steel square pipes are standardly supplied with either bright annealed finish (Ra≤0.5μm) or acid-pickled and passivated 2B matte surface. Optional mirror polishing (Ra≤0.2μm) or brushed texture is available. The pipes feature side lengths ranging from 10×10 mm to 100×100 mm and wall thicknesses from 0.5–5.0 mm. Compliant with ASTM A240 or EN 10088-2 standards, they ensure structural stability under normal operating conditions.
