409L stainless steel coil is a ferritic stainless steel with good corrosion resistance, high temperature resistance and fatigue resistance, and is widely used in automobile exhaust systems and other fields.
The international standards for 409L ferritic stainless steel coil mainly include Japanese Industrial Standard JIS G4305 and American Society for Testing and Materials Standard ASTM A240.
Processing performance and heat treatment
409L stainless steel has good processing performance, the starting temperature of hot processing is 1100-1150℃, and the coiling temperature is 600℃. The annealing temperature of hot-rolled strip in the bell furnace is 830-870℃, and the continuous annealing and pickling temperature of cold-rolled strip in the cold line or mixed line should be controlled at 860±10℃. The current input should be small during welding to avoid excessive grain growth and reduce the plastic toughness of the weld and heat-affected zone.
