1.4466 stainless steel (S31050 stainless steel) is a fully austenitic stainless steel with no intermetallic phases, such as intergranular carbide precipitation. It exhibits excellent corrosion resistance, along with a high internal energy and low ductility.
1.4436 stainless steel is an austenitic stainless steel formulated for primary forming into wrought products. Cited properties are appropriate for the solution annealed (AT) condition. 1.4436 is the EN numeric designation for this material. X3CrNiMo17-13-3 is the EN chemical designation.
