Products Description
304 stainless steel butt-weld concentric reducer; manufactured to ASME B16.9 standards; material grade A403. Specifications: 4" × 2"; large end OD 4.500", wall thickness 0.237"; small end OD 2.375", wall thickness 0.216"; overall length 4"; weight approx. 3.1 kg. Working pressure: 1500 psi; temperature range: -320°F to 800°F.
Also available in 316L material; specifications: 4" × 2"; large end OD 4.500", wall thickness 0.237"; small end OD 2.375", wall thickness 0.216"; overall length 4"; weight approx. 3.1 lbs. Standard: B16.9-1998; suitable for PN16/25/40 operating conditions.

Stainless Steel Schedule 40 Concentric Reducers
1.4435 stainless steel is very good resistance to corrosion in acidic and chloride containing environments, low sensitivity to stress corrosion cracking in presence of chlorides, excellent resistance to intergranular corrosion (even after welding), very good weldability, well-suited for use in environments with high risk of pitting corrosion.
1.4429 stainless steel (316LN) is a low-carbon, nitrogen-enhanced version of Type 316 molybdenum-bearing austenitic stainless steel. The Type 316 alloys are more resistant to general corrosion and pitting/crevice corrosion than the conventional chromium-nickel austenitic stainless steels such as Type 304. They also offer higher creep, stress-rupture and tensile strength at elevated temperature. The nitrogen in Type 316LN adds additional resistance to sensitization in some circumstances.
